Celeste Farnsworth-Wahl is a final year master’s level student at UIUC. She has a strong passion for working with individuals with stigmatized disorders and helping to create a compassionate, curious, open environment. She believes in everyone’s ability to grow and work towards being the best versions of themselves no matter what struggles or concerns they experience. She is further interested in working with queer/lgbtqia+ individuals, neurodivergent folks, and other marginalized groups. She also has interest in working with couples or other relational dynamics. Her approach to the therapeutic space is flexible and collaborative. In general, she integrates aspects of Internal Family Systems, EMDR, ACT, and polyvagal theory into her sessions. She takes a strengths-based approach with an unconditional positive regard for all of her clients- she absolutely loves getting to know and learning more about different types of people.
