Celeste Farnsworth-Wahl is a final year master’s level student at UIUC. She has a strong passion for working with individuals with stigmatized disorders and helping create a compassionate, curious, open environment for them to work through their concerns with her. She believes in everyone’s ability to grow and work towards being the best versions of themselves no matter what struggles or concerns they experience. She is further interested in working with queer/lgbtq+, neurodivergent, and other marginalized groups. Her approach to the therapeutic space is flexible and open to feedback from the client. In general, she integrates aspects of ACT, mindfulness, and existential therapy with further growing interest in frameworks such as internal family systems. She takes a strengths-based approach with an unconditional positive regard for all clients- she absolutely loves getting to know and learning about different types of people. She aims to make her space feel casual, warm, and accepting.
